چکیده
Abstract Background and aims Relative Bradycardia (RB) is a poorly understood condition that refers to inappropriately low heart rate response given increase in body temperature. Dysfunctional crosstalk between the immune system autonomous nervous has been advocated. It most often observed intracellular gram negative parasitic infections, with prevalence ranging 15% 20%. The aim of this study was identify prevalence, clinical determinants significance RB patients hospitalized for SARS-CoV-2 infection evaluate its prognostic value long-covid syndrome during follow-up. Methods We enrolled consecutive from March 2020 April 2021. collected parameters including clinostatic orthostatic blood pressure (BP) (HR) at 1,3 5 minutes, oxygen saturation, temperature (BT), routine tests, 12-lead ECG, 48-h Holter ECG. At follow up, symptoms were investigated by novel Malmo POTS Symptoms (MAPS) questionnaire. Results Total population included 269 inpatients (mean age 67±17 years, 59% male).Of these, 30 (11%) presented sinus bradycardia 37 (14%) RB. more frequently younger male higher BT heightened CRP levels. There no significant correlations BP HR changes BR hospital admission or No clinically relevant arrhythmias revealed 48-hour ECG monitoring. After mean16-month follow-up, MAPS score (30±19) compared those without (18±21, p=0.001) index admission. Dizziness, palpitations fatigue reported RB(p<0.001). Conclusions not an uncommon acute COVID-19. who hospitalization showed symptom burden as recorded score. Significance of exosomes in COVID-19 pathogenesis and therapy
Exosomes are lipid bilayer-enclosed nano-sized vesicles, which carry various biomolecules including proteins, lipids, and microRNAs. SARS-CoV-2-loaded exosomes can be entered into the susceptible host cells, and transported viral components which are associated with viral particles intercellular transmission and spread of infection. Over-stimulation of the immune system followed by excessive pr...
